Gwynn directing them to accompany a detachment of artillery and engineers ordered to Fort Sumter and to make a report on the condition of the fort and its defenses. On the verso is pasted a letter (1888 Oct. 12) to B.H. Teague in Aiken (S.C.) from W. Gwynn forwarding this document.
